POEMS

I LOOK IN THE MIRROR

I look in the mirror,
and what do I see?
A pair of eyes
Looks back to me.
A nose, two ears,
two eyebrows too:
Two lips ad teeth, to say:
"I love you".
I look in the mirror
and what do I see?
I look in the mirror,
and I see me?

ALL OF ME

My hands are for clapping
My arms can hug tight
My fingers can snap
Or can turn out the light
My legs are for jumping
My eyes help me see
This is my body
And I love all of me!

LADYBUG, LADYBUG

Ladybug, ladybug,
Fly out of the farm,
And land right
On my little arm!
Ladybug, ladybug,
Fly out of the tree,
And land right
On my little knee!
Ladybug, ladybug,
Fly out of your bed,
And land right
On my little head!
Ladybug, ladybug,
Fly out of the rose,
And land right
On my little nose!

SEA SHELL

Sea Shell, Sea Shell,
Sing me a song, O please!
A song of ships, and sailor men,
And parrots, and tropical trees,
Of islands lost in the Spanish Main
Which no man ever may find again,
Of fishes and corals under the waves,
And sea horses stabled in the great green caves.
Sea Shell, Sea Shell,
Sing of the things you know so well.
